Tells the story of Elvis covering major events in his recording life. It's a rocker featuring Steve Halliday (Europe's top Elvis) on vocals, drums and acoustic guitar

Steve Halliday gives his usual uncanny impersonation of Elvis vocals while Paul Mitchell manages to give a taste of musical styles throughout Elvis career
Andy and Kevin supplying authentic brass backing rounded off with Steve Halliday and Steve Mathieson's backing vocals

Track 2
"King of Rock and Roll"
Written by Mathieson / Brookner/Halliday
Written in response to Caesar the DJ's request for a Ballad and was inspired by Steve Mathieson hearing "a country boy" played on capitol gold radio for the first time.
Using the tune originally used on a song called "not on my mind" (music by Steve Brookner) the song tells the story of how a fan feels about losing Elvis
Vocals by Steve Halliday and backing track Steve Brookner

Track 3 "Twice Upon A Time"
Written by Dave White and tweaked by Mathieson and Halliday
Vocals Steve Halliday, Guitars by Dave White, keyboards Glenn White
Backing vocals Halliday, Cullen and Mathieson
A typical western tale of an outlaw on the run this is a uptempo number inspired by Dave White’s many trips to the states a lot of fun to make

"Track 4
"Nice of You to Call"
Again written by Dave White and tweaked by Mathieson/Halliday
Vocals Steve Halliday

Dave wrote his is Jim Reeves style but Steve Brookner gave it a calypso feel ready for Steve Halliday to stamp Elvis all over it, a song of loosing a love to another with dignity, which only Dave could have written
